Located on the historic beach of Pedregalejo in Málaga, Astilleros Nereo is one of the last traditional coastal shipyards in southern Europe. Officially declared a Site of Cultural Interest (Bien de Interés Cultural), Nereo restores and builds traditional Mediterranean wooden fishing boats (jábegas), llaüts, and classic wooden cutters using bent holm oak frames, pine planking, and traditional linen sails.
