History & Specialisations
Operated by the Fondation de Coubertin in the Chevreuse Valley, Ateliers Saint-Jacques brings together four historic trades: monumental stonemasonry, heavy timber carpentry, bronze art casting, and architectural ironwork. Deeply linked to the French Compagnonnage, the workshops executed the complete historical reconstruction of the Grille Royale at Versailles and restored ornamental metallurgy for Notre-Dame de Paris.
